Meet Our Team
Emily Allison, Conductor

She was also selected as the Teacher of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year.
She currently holds a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Music Education from Piedmont University.
In her free time, Emily works as the Children’s Director at Jefferson First United Methodist Church. She is the proud wife of Jake and mother of Anthony and Nora. She has a passion for children’s literature and believes in the power of words. Creating Lux has been a dream come true, and she cannot wait to share this choir with her community.

Dr. Conway’s previous appointments have included different age levels and types of organizations across the U.S. She is an active scholar and adjudicator, recently presenting at ACDA and NAfME conferences and adjudicating LGPE events along the East coast.
